He was President of Jordan Mortgage Services until 2000 when he merged this company with five others to create Mortgage Intelligence. In 2003, Mortgage Intelligence was purchased by General Motors Acceptance Corporation, GMAC RFC Company. Karl remained at Mortgage Intelligence until November 2007 when he formed Equity Plus Mortgages with Andrej. Karl is a Past Chairman of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP) which is the national mortgage industry association representing over 11,000 members. He was instrumental in developing the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation and is one of only five founders of the designation in Canada. He is a multi-award recipient by CAAMP and is widely considered one of the industries key influencers and visionaries.
